WORKSHOP: SCRAPtastic Stories

Wednesday 3 August, 11am-3pm

Venue: MakerWorld, The Piazza, Princess Alexandra Walk, HD1 2RS

Ticket price: Free (booking recommended)

Age guidance: all ages (under 16s should be accompanied by an adult)

A free storytelling and craft workshop for families. Join in with our creative workshop delivered by fairandfunky, celebrating the power of community and our place in the world.

Come and enjoy readings of The Girl Who Planted Trees by Caryl Hart, an uplifting tale of how one girl’s imagination, determination and positivity motivates a whole community. You will also be shown how to make beautiful bird mobiles, with wings of hope, to take home.

Booking is recommended as we expect this workshop to be popular (please book a place for each child and also for each adult accompanying them), however drop-in crafters also welcome. Readings of the story at 11:30am, 1:00pm and 2:30pm.
