Enjoy a creative art workshop with a South Asian flavour! In this small group interactive workshop, you will be shown how to trace a design from a traditional South Asian work of art on to a piece of silk, using the cold-wax batik technique.

You’ll also learn about colour theory and how silk paints work and blend, before painting your wall-hanging in a batik frame. After ironing out the wax, your wall hanging will be ready for you to take home and display.

Note: this is a free workshop, but if you are able to make a donation to Festival funds, please choose one of the donation buttons when booking.
