HCMF: Sounds of Punjab: Tabla

To celebrate South Asian Heritage month and as part of Sangam Festival, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (hcmf//) have worked with local artists Hardeep Sahota and Sunil Kalyan to produce ‘Sounds of Punjab’ – five videos introducing people of all ages to acoustic instrumentation found in classical and folk music from the Subcontinent.

These are being premiered via the hcmf// Instagram, Facebook and YouTube channels throughout the week commencing 14 August 2023. The fourth video in the series is an introduction to the Tabla and can be viewed on YouTube here: Tabla
