Sahera Khan is Muslim, Deaf and British South Asian. Her native language is British Sign Language.
Sahera’s poem Why Together? was published in the Together! 2020 poetry anthology and has now been filmed in British Sign Language for Sangam Festival.
The poem will be premiered on our Radio Sangam YouTube channel at 12 noon on Friday 23 July.
