It’s exciting, it’s fast paced – and it’s coming to Sangam Festival! A free Tent Pegging competition with mesmerising horse-riding skills, plus family activities.

Tent Pegging is an ancient sport that was popularised by calvary in the Indian subcontinent.

In a Tent Pegging competition, riders gallop towards a wooden peg fixed in the ground and try to spear it with a stick. It’s a test of skill on horseback and only the best riders will succeed.

Valued as a cultural tradition, it’s an unforgettable event, providing hours of fun and equestrian excellence.

This free event will include family activities and delicious food, all in support of local charities.
